First Christian Church desires to see lost people saved and saved people transformed into fully devoted followers of Jesus.
Throughout the long history of this troubled world, people have struggled to obtain the bare necessities for day-to-day survival. When they had more than they needed, life was good.
In this country, though, at this time, most of us do not have to struggle for survival. We have an enormous amount of goods and services available to us. And yet, despite all of our material possessions, life is not good for many of us. We feel a void, a lack of purpose and direction, and a sense of being incomplete that no amount of worldly success can fill.
We feel lost.
At First Christian Church, we know that feeling lost stems from separation from God. Based on the experiences of our many members, we know beyond doubt that there is an answer.
That answer is Jesus Christ.
When we say yes to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we receive the Holy Spirit to protect us, and to instruct us. The Holy Spirit brings comfort to the believer (John 14:15-17).
Our acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and our belief in the gift of eternal life, has brought “a peace that passes understanding”. Our hope and our prayer for you is that you may find the same.
