It's important to know what we believe. These are the core beliefs that guide our lives in Christ. 

The Bible is the written, inerrant word of God.
God is the author of the entire Bible. God used chosen authors, inspiring them to write His Word. The Bible is fully truthful in all of its teachings. The Bible reveals God's plan and is our instruction manual for life (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

God the Father is the Creator of all things.
God existed before all things. He is the Designer and Creator of the universe. He is all-loving, all-knowing, all-powerful, always present, perfect in every way, in complete control, and never changing. He is the One who sustains life today. He devised the plan that allows us to come to Him and establish a personal relationship (Psalm 90:2).

Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
Jesus and His Father were together before the beginning of time. He was born of a virgin and became man, lived a perfect life, and died for the sins of all. He revealed the characteristics of God the Father. He was put to death, buried in a grave, and arose from the dead to live forever (John 1:1-2).

The Holy Spirit lives within the believer today.
When we say yes to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we receive the Holy Spirit to protect us, and to instruct us. The Holy Spirit brings comfort to the believer (John 14:15-17).

Every person matters to God.
Every person has worth as a creation of God. However, all are separated from God because of their failure to meet God's standards (sin). God loves each and every person and desires to forgive all people. He wants every person to spend eternity with Him in His heaven (Romans 3:23).

God offers forgiveness of sins.
The gift of eternal life is available to anyone who believes in Jesus Christ, God's one and only Son. Jesus is the only way to God. Those accepting Christ must surrender their lives to Him by turning away from sin, professing their faith in Him, and being baptized by immersion. When a life is surrendered to God, Jesus Christ bridges the gap between God and sinful man, and the separation no longer exists (John 3:16).

The church refers to people, not buildings.
The church is the living body of Christ, and every believer has a significant role in this Body. Jesus Christ is the head of the church, and we do not elevate one person over another. We do not "go to church," but rather the church comes together to worship the Father and the Son, while being led by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:12-14).

The future holds the return of Jesus Christ.
When Jesus returns to earth again, we all will stand before Him. Some will spend eternity with God in His heaven because of their relationship with Jesus, and those who have rejected Christ will be separated from Him forever (John 3:36).
