The Bible is the written, inerrant word of God.
God is the author of the entire Bible, inspiring chosen individuals to write His word. We believe the Bible to be absolute truth, revealing God’s plan for life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
God the Father is the Creator of all things.
God existed before all things and is the Designer and Creator of the universe. He is all-loving, all-knowing, all-powerful, always present, perfect in every way, in complete control, and never changing. The Father has provided a way for us to come to Him and establish a personal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. (Psalm 90:2)
Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
Jesus and his Father were together before the beginning of time. He was born of a virgin and became man, lived a perfect life, and died for the sins of all. He was put to death on the cross, buried in a grave, and arose to live forever. (John 1:1-2)
The Holy Spirit lives within the believer today.
When we say yes to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we receive the Holy Spirit to protect, instruct, and comfort us. (John 14:15-17)
Every person matters to God.
Every person matters to God as a part of His creation, but we are separated from God because we have fallen short of His expectations (sin). God loves each and every person and wants them to spend eternity with Him in His heaven. (Romans 3:23)
God offers forgiveness of sins.
God offers forgiveness of sins to everyone who accepts Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only way to God, and the gift of eternal life is available to those who believe. Those accepting Christ must surrender their lives to Him by turning away from sin, professing their faith in Him, and being baptized by immersion. (John 3:16)
The church refers to people, not buildings.
The church is the living Body of Christ, and every believer has a significant role. Jesus Christ is the head of the church as we come together to worship. (1 Corinthians 12:12-14)
The future holds the return of Jesus Christ.
When Jesus returns again to earth, we will stand before Him. Some will spend eternity with God in His heaven because of their relationship with Jesus, and those who have rejected Christ will be separated from Him forever. (John 3:36)
